im gonna bring crown royal from home and tell them to make me a triple chocolate chocolate chip frapuccino with crown royal and a handful of beans from the bag.
I used to love getting the breakfast jack with sausage subsituting ham, for the same $0.99. By far the cheapest breakfast sandwich unless there's a special going on. Too bad Jack in the Box decided to actually make a sausage breakfast jack and jacked up the price. Personally, I just don't bother customizing my order too much. The people working at these fast food places can't seem to comprehend anything beyond #X + type of drink, where X is the number pertaining to the combo you want. Because... EVERYONE want the combo, not the sandwich, right?
i know at wendy's in houston they have the 1/4 lb texas double cheeseburger on the menu (at a few locations i've been to), but they never had it on a menu while i lived in austin.. but still i always ordered them and had no trouble. they called it a texas double. it's like a tweener between $.99 burgers and classic burgers
the best "secret item" at Taco Bell is simply the Green Sauce. many years ago (early 80s) they listed a "Green Burrito" on the menu (and even had it on one of the corners on the wrapper). they eliminated the item from the menu, but have kept the green sauce on the assembly line ever since. they will put it on anything you want at NO EXTRA CHARGE. i suggest something as simple as a "Tostada with green sauce and sour cream" to start. then, work your way on up the Taco Bell Experiment Ladder. you're welcome and enjoy!
I was not impressed with this list. Seems like it was all "they have the ingredients and can make whatever you like". No ****! Really?
I'm the type of person that orders the same thing, when I find something I like...At Taco bell, bean burrito, 2 soft tacos and Nachos Supreme...At Jack in the crack, two tacos and sometimes throw in a Ultimate cheeseburger...At mcdonalds, two cheeseburgers...At Wendy's, Bacon Dbl Cheeseburger...Whataburger, Whataburger with cheese, jalapenos and mayo and mustard... Not Fast Food, but I love ordering things off the menu...NOt that you feel special, but old favorites are still around...Zio's Toasted Ravioli appetizer is now an off the menu item...At Houston's, the Sunbelt Salad is an off the menu item...
BTW, Whataburger also has a policy that they are supposed to be able to make you anything they have the ingredients for. My dad asked them to make grilled cheese sandwiches for my nieces and they did it. Charged him for two sides of toast and cheese.
