TRADE ACCEPTED Due to Houston and Chicago being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Houston and Chicago had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Chyke_tx, that's a nice trade for you Bulls fans, but why would the Rockets trade a budding superstar for another undersized PF (Fizer) when we could have just kept K.T.? And why would we break up our chemistry so that two players fight over the PG position? Take solace in the Bulls board. Thanks.
chyke, how many of your 18 posts have been used proposing trades? Didnt you post a trade that wasnt accepted by RealGM the other day? Geeze First..get rid of Eddie for Fizer? No thanks. Second...Get rid of Cat for a rookie point guard that isn't living up to the hype around him? I'll pass on that one also. Next...
As you can discern from the responses thus far, at least suggest a trade like E.G. for Tyson Chandler or even Eddy Curry (both of which have been mulled and counter-mulled ad nauseum). Most of us would provide an emphatic "No" but at least you would get a reflective pause in the interim.
Hey chyke_tx, that trade really doesn't seem fair....we should probably thrown in Yao,too. Don't you think?
Looking at the proposal objectively, I think you are basically over-rating Jay Williams because the rest of the trade is a giveaway. While it might be too early to get a handle of how gd JW will be, his play so far has certainly suggested limitations to his potential. My guess is that he'd probably be more Chauncy Billups than Jason Kidd. Not bad, but not exceptional. Certainly not worth who we would be giving up.
