So a bunch of friends are creating a $20 fantasy basketball league. The proposed payout is as follows: Reg Season: 1st place: $100 2nd place: $60 3rd place: $20 Playoff champ: $20 This is a head to head league. Ridiculous or no?
I think it should be the opposite, with the regular season winner getting his money back and then the top 3 in playoffs getting their cuts.
The regular season winner is a tougher achievement. In the NBA you make more money during the season than you do the playoff bonus. Maybe you guys should just change the setting to point total as opposed to head 2 head.
Im in a 12 man fantasy football league where it is structured like that. Except payouts are in the thousands. Im hoping to win me a cruise!
