I'm about to do fantasy baskeball on yahoo and I haven't done this in a couple years, so I forgot everything.

Which one is more fun, head to head or a roto league? And also, I heard the turnover stat makes it less fun, is this true?

Head to head makes for better **** talking. Not sure how the TO stat makes it less fun, it's a major stat and should be included in the scoring IMO.

The thing about using strait turnovers in a head to head league is that the team with the better players almost always loses turnovers. It's simple math. Better players touch the ball on more possessions leading to more turnovers.

Generally it's better to use assist to turnover ratio instead. It's still not perfect but it's a much better indicator.

Yeah I see what your saying, but I've done fantasy basball roto, and roto is way better than head to head. I've always thought it was better because there are so many games through out the week like basketball, so roto basketball would be better. And head to head is best for football.

And it's also a build up of your stats, say you have the best record going into head to head fantasy basketball, but you run into a hot team, then your season is over, even though you drafted the best, made the best moves, but still lost because of a weaker hot team. Roto awards the best team overall, through out the whole season.

h2h is less intense because there's playoffs. Roto takes more skill, planning, and strategy to effectively use your alotted games.

With h2h, you don't get penalized as heavily for drafting lemons .

So it's mostly preferential based on time and effort.
