Will any Texans fan be upset if they go out and win some of these last four games and not get the #1 pick and lose out on Reggie Bush?
    What is your reaction!!

I'd be upset if they win. I love the Texans but winning games at this point of the year doesnt help our cause.

Usually I'd disagree, but at this point half of the players that are on the team and the coaching staff will be gone, so finishing strong and looking to next season should not be a rallying cry for this team.

The Texans need to pull their top players and look to next year.

I don't know if I read it here or heard it on the radio, but what is this talk of Bush not being a viable back in the NFL and that he'd a kick returner more than anything?

It'd be kinda fun if the entire city was in on this. How fun would the bar be on Sunday if we were all rooting for them to lose?!?! :D

That's funny...they score a TD in Reliant and get booed.

Problem is, players could be fighting for future employment and they couldn't care less about next season because they might be here anyway.

It would be piss me off if some player like Marcus Coleman (who will probably not be here next season) does something stupid like picks off a pass for a TD and ruins the Texans chances at getting the #1 pick.

Then he signs with the Packers next season and they pick Bush!!

    Talk about Irony huh??

It's funny that you mention Coleman he had plenty to say about staying with the Texans here about wanting to be here next season.

Brick has been a bust. Injuries have really hampered his performance and he's not really lived up to expectations. Not that he won't be a solid NFL tackle, but at this stage, some scouts have Scott from Texas ranked higher than him.

Yeah just like the 7-9 season was the "rallying cry" to carry us to a playoff berth this season.

    That's assuming we're in the top 3-5.

If the Texans win 3 of 4 games, we won't.

RB isn't even a workhorse college back, he splits carries and doesn;t run between the tackles much. It is very possible the guy will be a good pro player but not be a workhorse pro back that warrents #1 type picks. Think Brian Westbrook.

But, but, isn't Reggie Bush the greatest college football player ever? Heck he will be the best RB in the NFL from his first day in training camp. At least Darren Woodson seems to think so.

As a graduate of UT with a degree in journalism, the hype machine for Reggie Bush since Fresno State sickens me greatly. Furthermore, I think it's a shame we can't get respectable media coverage on this issue. If we could, the people at ESPN, SI, etc would be questioning whether a running back that split carries with a fellow running back and had less TD's than that RB deserves the Heisman. Because if he really was that good, he would be the unquestioned number one guy in the USC backfield in my opinion. Also, I saw some of Reggie's runs and I think he should thank his O-Line for giving him a canyon to run through to utilize his speed. Again, this is not to say Bush isn't a fabulous player, because he is very good. This is to say that so many people have their heads up Reggie's jockstrap since Fresno(who has lost to those WAC powers Nevada and Louisiana Tech since then) that they can't see straight.

People need to temper expectations for the guy, big time in my opinion.

Just fix the team. There is no guaranty that a single player saves the team's future anyhow.
