Seems like his peak is a Reggie Evans type player, if he ever learns to play defense. I would love for him to get to that level in a Rockets uniform, but i doubt he will ever wear one again.

He's also the Dwight Howard of FT shooting and 15ft jumpers, with 2 less inches of height...and even better foulability than Dwight! The guy should be playing football.

That's the way I see it. Can't exactly entice other teams to take your trash if they think it's trash also.

It's kinda tough to sell that notion though when Dorsey can't get any minutes on a team that uses a rotation of Hayes, Scola, and Andersen at the center spot (I have Landry playing the 4 throughout this season, but could go either way). Don't get me wrong, those 3 players are playing their hearts out and I love their effort, but 2 are undersized and playing out of position, and Andersen is a marshmallow on defense.

i dont think there's any hype there..dorsey did rebound pretty well when he was on the team, he could realistically get 12-14 boards a game if he played big mins, but that's all he'd do. Thats why he's ion the team. In the NDL he gets the rebounds and the lesser talent gets him more points, thus the DH of the NBDL...seem's right on and i think morey is talking about his strength/athleticism as well not just the stats. Just imagine dorsey at 7'0, hell even just 6'10.

Morey might be referring to only to his career game against the Bakersfield Jam. It's hard to tell. Hopefully, he can improve enough to make the transition to the NBA before his contract expires.

    Dorsey
    27 pts
    11-11 FG
    5-9 FT
    11 Off Rebs
    11 Def Rebs
    22 Total Rebs
    2 Blocks

He'd also be a lottery pick...

Sigh, if only Morey can get his hands on a lottery pick somehow. Then we'd have a 7 foot Dorsey or 6-4 Brooks.

Those stats, although against a D-League team, are pretty scary......
