I was the first contestant in the fan dunk last night. Made a 2 hand jam, hung on the rim on my first one. Tried a windmill dunk on my 2nd.. bricked it and smashed my thumb :( . Oh well, it was an amazing night. My dad actually got the dunk on video.. can I email it to someone so they can post it on here?

I wish.. I was a gymnast for 13 years.. can do pretty much all the tumbling he does on the court. He is a very nice and classy guy.

Was the guy who won a ringer, or was he actually just a fan out of the stands. He was very solid.

Oh, you were good too

RocPaint was the 6th or 7th I think....

( white boy with blue hat and Francis Jersey )

He made the first cut, but missed his second attempt :(

Not bad for an out of shape, beer drinking, middle aged, white boy :p

Hey man, I remember seeing you. Good job. On a side note...there is now way that guy that won is just some kid out of the stands. Him and Turbo acted like they had been practicing those dunks together for awhile

I was the 10th contestant in the dunk contest. To pull off a left handed wind mill for the first time in my life was incredible. Not to mention it was on the Compaq Center floor, with about 15,000 people watching. It was an awesome experience.
    Great time.. Great Game..

    Go Rockets!! :)

During practice a guy faceplanted right into a hard backstop... interrupted our practice time!! They had to get first aid there cuz he was pretty banged up. He was really like a human torpedo, never hit his feet on the floor.

A definate RINGER. When that same dude came in the 3rd period timeout out and did an under-the-leg jam with Turbo...no way. Then bounced one off the backboard perfectly to Turbo.

Then, I swear that same dude came out again towards the end of the game in Rockets warm-ups and did some triple summersalt backflip thing between the power dancers. Did anybody else notice that or was I mistaken?

    Franchise2001,

If you'd like, I can put your video on my personal webspace. Is it 10 MB or smaller? That's the size limit of my account. Sorry to hear about your thumb, sounds like you did some cool dunks! I didn't get to see it since I'm not in Houston.

I was there to witness it all! Great stuff! Great job! I can say the crowd really had a great time with it all! I liked the way the crowd cheered for the one gal that made it to the 2nd round!
