Lets hear some unique holiday traditions that our fellow clutchfans practice.

My fathers family is from Eastern Europe. Our Christmas dinner starts with a shot of whiskey (probably was originally vodka before they moved to America a century ago) and bread. After that, we eat sauerkraut, perogies, and potatoes. Prunes are at the end of the meal for 'good luck' (I think they made that up because we hated prunes when my brother and I were little).

My mom being Italian makes pizzelles for dessert.

Every year, someone in my wife's family must give a melon-baller as a present. I don't know how it started. I think we currently own at least four (after re-gifting some to other family members over the years.
