    On Memorial Day, I would like to publicly state my appreciation for those who lost their lives serving their country. Their ultimate sacrifice has allowed the United States to become not just a global superpower, but the standard bearer for Democracy, Freedom and Hope.

    Know that while America might have varying opinions about individual conflicts and the choices made by your political leaders. We are united in our appreciation of your service and sacrifice.
