This is the big week for the new season. Lots of new shows. A couple of new ones I'm hoping will be good are NBC's Studio 60 and 30 Rock. I'm also looking forward to a new season of The Office.
I want to talk about new shows that have piqued my interest and that I hope turn out to be good. Studio 60, I enjoyed the pilot dvd from netflix and I hope the show is good. It should be as long as Sorkin is there. I don't thinkn I would watch 30 Rock if it weren't for Alec Baldwin, so I hope he gets tons of screen time. The only other new show I can think of that I hope is good is the Knights of Prosperity starring Donal Logue from Grounded For Life and that weird taxi driver in those MTV commercials from years back. It's about a blue collar guy who is tired of feeling like a loser so he decided to get his friends together and they are going to plan a robbery of Mick Jagger's New York apartment. If it's good, I hope it only lasts one or two seasons, because there is only so much you can do with that premise.
I'm kind of looking forward to "Jericho" cause it seems that is where we are all headed. Might as well get a taste of it now. It may help prepare us even if it is fictional.
CSI, CSI Miami, Criminal Minds,The Unit, Numbers, Bones, and later in winter 24 and The Shield. Those are my staples. I might give "Kidnapped" and "Smith" a try.
30 Rock Lost - season 3 I want more It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. That is probably about all I am really looking forward to.
Lost, Office, & Earl on the networks. I'm already watching Weeds and the new show Dexter on Showtime looks like it might be good. The first episode of Damon Wayans "The Underground" wasn't that funny. It's In Living Color rehashed and R rated. It was nice to see Def Comedy Jam again on HBO this week. I always try to catch Real Time with Bill Maher as well.
Office Lost My Name is Earl The Nine New Adventures of Old Christine How I Met Your Mother Home Makeover EDIT: I forgot Scrubs
Yes sir, I'm just finishing it up now before the season premier. Not bad, and worth the money, for all of the deleted scenes, online episodes, and bloopers. I'll be watching House and the Office.
The trailers for Heroes on NBC has me quite curious. Otherwise...screw TV...I'll sit around and play Half Life 2 DM all evening.
