    Well, since the Sci-Guy FINALLY admitted that this year's hurricane season is over (a couple of weeks too late, but whatever), I think it's time for a cold front thread.

    Feels great out this morning. Not much of a front, but just the cool mornings and the lack of humidity is good enough for me - for a while, at least. This summer has been BRUTAL. Good riddance.

    Looks like another front is coming in next weekend that could drop overnight temps into the 50's. I'll believe it when I see it, but we'll have to keep an eye on it.....

    no lie...on our drive from Houston to Dallas yesterday, the temp dropped from 85 to 70 when we stopped in Buc-ees...it was nice...it got up to 77 by the time we got to Dallas...it was 66 when I landed in TN late last night...I love the cool weather...

    why didn't it come sat night? i was sweating during the tailgate yesterday! bleh. i love this time of year. i think my dog forgot how cool weather feels. he went outside and paused for a bit.
