Was it just me or did the Fakers get all the calls last night as usual. Shaq got away with a couple calls as usual but the Rockets were just too good last night. The Lakers are champions of nothing and last night proved it again.

the two assaults that shaq got away with:

    francis layup
    shandon layup

    were simply "Against the Law".

i think that tattoo he has plays the jedi mind trick on the refs.

Both teams shot 23 free throws and both teams were called for 20 personal fouls. The "champ's respect" vs. "home cooking" seems to have cancelled each other out.

Didn't both teams have near to, or more turnovers than assists?

    Hey,

Shaq got an offensive call when he bowled over Dream...I thought the game was evenly officiated.

Yeah thats true. I thought Shandon was really hurt because he was going full speed and Shaq pushed him from the side
and he almost hit his head on one of those cameras.

i guarantee steve has a swollen left elbow today. did you notice that his elbow took the full brunt of that fall?

and there was no call from the back referee.

I was at the game 2 rows up from the floor and thought the refs did a fairly decent job. The only call I saw that they missed badly was when Stevie was almost clothes-lined by Shaq.

RocketsPimp I was there too and did you notice how loud the crowd was? It was only 14,000 but it seemed like a sellout.

Yes, it was a nice crowd. The gave Collier a pretty nice ovation when he fouled out. I was impressed with the level of crowd participation.

I think the ref did a fairly decent job. Shaq got away with 3 sec violations and some tackles, but overall it was still better than usual.

I can vouch for COACH SAMPSON not being Calvin Murphy. In another post, he stated a preference for Hot Rod Hundley and the other clown doing the Jazz games over Calvin and Bill.

I also thought the Faker$ had a few calls go their way but nothing out of the ordinary.

Damm, maybe he really is Stick ? that might explain his deep seated hatred for the fakers.
