I may have the best starting 8 position players in the league.
c-Posada
1st-Helton
2nd-Alfonso
SS-Jeter
3rd-Batista
OF-Bonds
OF-Ramirez
OF-Berkman (Salmon or Bichette)

Pitching is just average, but I am a pitchers manager [IMG]

I am thrilled with my team. Not bad for picking 9th in a 10 team league.

I think I have the overall best pitching staff:

Starters
Big Unit
Kerry Wood
Kevin Millwood
John Smoltz
Andy Ashby
Matt Clement

Relief
John Rocker
Ugueth Urbina

I really like my outfield too:

Vladimir Guererro
Andruw Jones
Matt Lawton
Jeromy Burnitz, Mike Cameron, ???? ?????

I'm strong at catcher and third base (Kendall & Cirillo) and potentially have the best first baseman (McGwire).

I'm weak at shortstop, and to a lesser extent, second base.

Overall, I like my team a lot. I have a lot of risky guys coming back from injury and what not, but if these sleepers perform like I hope they will, I believe my chances are pretty damn good.

Nah.. Miller pitches at Enron, Ashby pitches in LA -- big difference.

They say the new strike zone will help Woody out, but I think Ashby is better.

I wanted Furcal badly also, but I wanted him to start [IMG]

I thought I would of got the best outfield but after looking I think Fadeaways outfield is the best and pretty awesome,I was hoping to get Lawton and Burnitz as two of my OFs but they were stolen!!!

I also think I have a really good team but I am extremely weak at SS and 2B!

I like my pitching staff before the season starts but you never know!

I am hoping for T.Clark to come back and hit 35-40 homers after his dissapointing season last year hiting 13 with a bad back! Also I am hoing Easley and Baldwin come back from injurys to have nice years.Oh and what happened to Greg Vaughn,I wished he could recimble his MVP form!!!

As I already said I like everyones team!!!

Summer Song Giver,

I'm interested in Piazza. I can fork over Javy Lopez in return along with another starting position player. It looks like you may be a bit thin at SS and 2B. I have some depth at those positions and may be able to help you out there. Let me know if Piazza's available and who you may want in return.

Nemers, I am interested in Jones and Brown;the deal you mentioned (Lopez and Alomar or Tejada for Piazza) does me no good because I can still only use 162 games at the catcher spot essentially making the deal Piazza for Tejada or Alomar.I can justify starting Piazza at the In. Flex but not Lopez. Not to mention Javy is out for 3-4 weeks. If you want Piazza it will cost you Brown or Jones.Let me know what you decide.

Dvauthrin,

I dont really have a reasonable idea on how high u rank chavez so i dont really know what to offer u.........where do u need an upgrade??i have a lot of outfielders and 1st basemen....

SSG,

I have a pretty good idea on what u would want for piazza.......which brings me to my next point.....

Do any of yall have AOl or AIM....if so give me ur screennames, its easier to talk trade that way...my name is WiNK323 in case any of yall have it....i know SSG and Ren have it, yall need to get on more so we can talk trade!

btw, what do yall think of my OF!! i really like them.....giles, everett, mondesi and stewart w/ cedeno as a backup, could do a lot of damage!
