Alot of things get re-hashed over and over on the bbs where posters often have to restate things dozens of times before getting the point across. Alot of threads and opinions are based off of misinformation either because the poster made some assumption about a game, season, or management decision or just plain mis-interpretation. I have included a couple of notions below that I think the board commonly mis-interprets. Feel free to add you own or comment on whether or not you agree with the statements below:

The bbs appreciates Steve more than Tracy because he plays with heart and gives maximum effort and would never quit

    FICTION

Whether or not the board actually appreciates Steve more or not, I am not sure. However, he does have a history of effort issues himself:

2004 -Opts Superbowl over the Rockets

"Francis went to the Super Bowl at Reliant Stadium Sunday, and as a result missed the Rockets flight to Phoenix the same day."

    http://bbs.clutchfans.net/news/1146/francis_opts_super_bowl_over_rockets/

2006 (with Magic)- Francis refuses to re-enter a game

    FICTION

"Mcgrady lead the Rockets to their 22 game winning streak while Yao was out"

The win streak started on Jan 29th against the Warriors last year which Mcgrady did not play in due to flu-like symptoms. Mcgrady would return for the next game on Feb 1st against the Pacers and would continue on to play everygame of the streak. Yao played in the first 12 games of the 22 game winning streak before having to shut it down with his foot injury. (As a side note, the rockets were 6-3 during that month of January without Mcgrady leading up to the streak) Mcgrady played the last 10 games of the streak without Yao but did have Yao for the first 12 games of that streak.

Do you remember the Juwon Howard/Ryan Bowen/Clarence Weatherspoon three headed power forward from TMac's first year with the Rockets?
