i always feel better around the ladies if i havent shaved in about 5 days...but after it starts getting really nasty i usually shave...
but i never leave anything...i think when im able im going to rock a mustache for a while..sort of as a joke..
so let me know im curious...i know someone out there has some facial hair..

i just want something interesting to read when i get off work at 12pm :(

Mustache and a goat, although the rest usually has a couple days growth as I am too lazy to shave and I really don't care that much.

I'm usually clean shaven, or with a bit of a shadow, but I've done a lot of experimentation over the years. At some point, I have had the following:

    - full goatee (well, sort of.. I can't seem to grow hair connecting my mustache to the hair on my chin.. it's as close as I can get to a full goatee anyway)
    - simple, trimmed mustache (no goatee)
    - single tuft of hair on chin (no mustache)
    - full goatee with a single vertical strip shaved into my chin.. sort of like a goatee split in half
    - mustache with the middle shaved out, leaving just two tufts of hair on opposite sides of my upper lip (I call it the Fu-Man-Chu look)
    - Fu-Man-Chu look plus a single vertical strip of hair in the middle of my chin
    - full beard (itchy!)

I generally only shave once a week, and sometimes before special occasions. I have nearly perfected shaving in the shower without a mirror. The toughest part is getting the sideburn area even.

Sideburns- been my constant now for 13 years every since i could grow them, they vary in size from Big Arse Mutton Chops, to short angular star trek ones

Jazz Tuft - the lower than the the lower lip hair growth, the tickler, now my constant companion my a year or so (interesting to see if it stays for the wedding), at the moment it is probably 2-3cm long.

I hate shaving, once a week if i can get away with it

have tried the goatee several times, and might go the beard over the Xmas break.

also tried the Handle bar moustache (for the p*rn star for a P party if you remember) (Heb and HeyP have the pics if they want to post)

Goatee here...I've had it for six years now. About 11 years ago I had big-ass Elvis/Neil Young mutton chops.

Goatee and moustache-- going on a year now.

I've had full beards about 10 times in my life-- never seemed to keep them more than a year or so.

beards suck. I have one for the first time and I'm growing it to be an extra in the movie alamo. It looks okay I guess, but it sucks.

I was goat only when I go to college, switched to the 'stache only a couple months ago, now my chin is as naked as the day I was born.

He's in Austin, where they're filming it.

    Don...I'm jealous.

BTW, I had a full beard until about a week ago. Now, I'm focusing my energies on growing a Bagwell goatee from a couple of spring trainings ago.

    Like Jim Neidhart?

I remember when Bagwell had that long goatee. My favorite quote about it was when he said his wife liked to drag him around the house by it.

At 20, I still haven't been able to grow a goatee. My facial hair is weird. I let my mustache grow in, but it's not really a fully defined one, I don't shave it cuz I'm lazy basically. I pretty much grow hair everywhere on my face except for the part at the ends of my mouth where I could connect a mustache to beard and get a goatee. Again, I'm pretty lazy about shaving, so I'll go around with the 5 o'clock shadow for about a week before I shave.

Clean shaven... I've always been a bit suspicious of facial hair, I mean, what are you trying to hide? :D

I have had every kind of facial hair configuration you can imagine.
I am currently sporting a 'stache with a long goatee(about 2/3rds the length of Bags' long goatee)

In the past I have had beards of varying lengths, from short Riker-style to damn near ZZTop length..
When its time to shave, I'll start to experiment with different looks by shaving off selected parts of a full beard to see what I can come up with.

    BTW,
GBRocks...Most guys I know that wear beards, do so because they hate shaving. But I have heard various shrinks claim that some wear them because the are ashamed of their chins or other facial features..

I dont really know anyone that admits to this, so go figger..

I try to, but I reall don't have any control. I actually start off with a 2:30 shadow, then in one day it reaches 5 o'clock status. After that, it takes about 3 days to get 6 to 6:30.

Here's something weird. Do any of you guys have hair that grows out in a kind of faint swirl. For me, it's on my cheek and in line with my lower jaw bone. Some times, it looks like a map of a hurricane or something. I'm the only person I know with it, but my buddies have ashured me that they know people with similar patterns. They were just telling me what I wanted to hear, weren't they???

Full beard and mustache, but I think it's gotten a little out of control...what do you think?

Seriously...Goatee for about a year while my then wife was gaga over Toni Kukoc...She couldn't stand it on me...I shaved it when I kissed my newborn son and he didn't like it...aside from that, I shave when I'm up to it...I usually can live with every other day...3 days is really pushing it.
