Clutch City was officially pronounced dead game 7 against Utah when John Stockton hit that buzzer beater to take us out of the playoffs. Ever since then we have been mediocre overall. I hate to say it but the real Clutch City right now is San Antonio... AND I HATE THE *****ING SPURS WITH ALL MY HEART!!!!! We need a new Identity.. Clutch City is dead and as much as I hate the Jazz.. They really know how to build a team..
stop being so negative...being negative doesnt make anything better...its not like if u say omg this is over this is over we are going to start winning or that we are going t ohave a better team..
I agree. That is why we should make a giant paper mache of Stockton and burn it in front of the Toyota Center as an exorcism.
What do you mean? We already have two. They can come back to us when they have two of their own. Until then, if they don't get one this year, they'll be as successful as the Rockets were...ending the season without a ring.
Sometimes I think it should be called "Cluck City" now. I don't know when fans started turning Chicken Little. Always thinking the sky is falling when times are rough. You root for your team no matter what. You're also supposed to have confidence that your team can win every game, even if your team is David against Goliath. We've been through "BELIEVE." and "BELIEVE AGAIN." The next step is not "WE CAN'T." The next slogan should be "I KNOW."
There's "confidence" and then there's "support." You can be a realistic basketball fan, support your team, and know full well your team might not stand a chance. See Atlanta Hawks 2007-2008. But nothing is guaranteed, and that's why they play the games. To panic and rant is what the fans do. We don't have patience for GMs to put the right pieces together. We don't have patience for rookies to develop in 3-5 years. We don't want our team going fishin' before May. We all want to win now. Just like the fans of the other 29 teams.
