FA Targets Based on Player Output Rankings/Value

Not sure if this belonged in the GARM or Dish. I figured I'd get less hating by posting it in here. Anyway, fFor my fantasy teams I use a spreadsheet I've made which assign players values in different categories (usually the standard 9 in fantasy bball) based on the average and standard deviation in those categories. Only the top 270 players in the league are used, those are determined using basketballmonster.com and are based on the ratings I use to construct the spreadsheet. For example, the average PPG for these players last season was 11.8, and the standard deviation was 5.5. Baron Davis averaged 21.8 PPG last year. 21.8-11.8-10/5.5 gives us a value of 1.8 in PPG. In case you're not a fantasy basketball player, the other categories are 3PM, REB, AST, STL, BLK, FT%, FG% and TO. I know other things are involved (like health, defense and attitude) when determining a players value in the actual NBA, but this does give a nice overview while putting those things aside. Some players like Marcus Camby are high on the list because they're so far ahead of everyone else when it comes to a certain stat, in this case Blocked Shots. One thing I like to do is remove a players worst stat so that players like Dwight Howard can actually get the recognition they deserve. Another is to sort it based on a players lowest stat. I really like doing this because it shows you players that instead of excelling in a couple of stats, they're ok/good in all stats. I thought I'd throw that list on here just to help some of these guys get the respect they deserve (I'm too lazy to bold all of these like the ones above. It is sorted by the players lowest stat). You can see Rashard is at the top of this list because his lowest stat is -.2.:

Players like Francisco Garcia, Travis Outlaw, Marko Jaric, Martell Webster, Marquis Daniels, John Salmons, Anthony Carter, Ryan Gomes, Keith Bogans, and Maurice Evans are all types of players I would like to get in Houston. They contribute across the board and don't cost an arm and a leg.

I think some good players to target, based on these stats, would be:

Unrestricted - Anthony Carter, Ricky Davis, James Posey, Kurt Thomas, James Jones, Eduardo Najera
Restricted - Andris Biedrins, Josh Childress (one of my favorites), Ryan Gomes, Dorell Wright, Chris Quinn

There is no link, it's a spreadsheet on my computer. I bolded every other category (PTS, REB, STL, TO, FT%) to try and make it easier to read, the first bolded stat you see is PTS, the second is REB, etc. I'm not sure how much more I can do. Oh well, I guess that was a waste of a couple of hours.
