    Did anybody see this?

This is a home-remodeling show, I guess (I've never seen it before). In the season premiere though, they completely demolished a 1500 SF home and IN 1 WEEK built, finished and furnished a 4000+ SF home for a family of 9.

The guy was a single dad of 8 kids (4 boys and 4 girls) who had lost his wife four years ago to a totally unexpected death in a matter of days. She went into the hospital with flu-like symptoms and never got back home.

It's nice to see a reality show that doesn't turn on greed.

Yeah it's been out a whlie this was the premier for this season. They are taking a lot of shows that were on the Discovery Chanell and mixing them up a bit and putting them on primetime. Shows like Monster House etc...just a different twist to it. Its a lot of fun and a bit addicting to watch.

I watch this show, they help these families so much. I wish they had an Extreme Home edition for poor families though...or for old folks who live alone. What I am saying is that as much money that they put in to a home they can help 4 families instead of just one. But I really like the families that they pick.

I've been watching it the last few weeks. It always sucks me in. By the end, I'm usually reaching for the Kleenex -- the po-mo cynic in me usually retreats when I watch.

my wife and son watched this last night. my wife was crying big time...my son kept saying, "that's so nice. that's so nice."

it is heartening to see a show like this after being exposed to all the other crap tv rallies around.
