Anyone have a 3rd party extended Car Warranty? I have a Honda and don't foresee any major issues but I want to make sure I am not going to run into anything that is going to break the bank should something happen. I would rather spend a little money now than a lot later... Checked out warranty direct, but they are a little pricey.
I'd never get an extended warranty that wasn't a manufacturer's warranty. Many of these 3rd party guys can go belly-up and you'd be out of your money.
I've had great success with them over the last 20 years. They can be a great alternative to expensive manufacturer's warranties. On another note, both my brother and sister have had Honda Accords as their last 2 cars and they were extremely reliable. That is one car I wouldn't bother getting the extended warranty for.
