Do any of ya'll have any experience with extended car warranties? As an aside: I just got rid of my POS VW Jetta for a brand new 2007 Honda Civic EX Sedan. I purchased an extended warranty through the dealer when the LIEnance manager told a buddy and me (my friend was buying at the same time) that he could sell us a $0 deductible, 7 yr / 100,000 mile, bumper to bumper warranty good at ant Honda dealer for $895. Well turns out it isn't $0 deductible and not good at any Honda dealer. Needless to say we canceled the warranty. Now I am looking for an extended warranty for when the 36,000 mile Honda warranty goes out. I don't want to get Honda Care because there is a better mechanic than the Honda dealer that we go to. (Burden Honda on 1960. Freakin' Awesome!) Any suggestions?
