Is it just me or does trading the number one pick to the bulls for the number two and either marcus fizer, or depending on the bidding war, maybe even an eddy curry and the number 2, then selecting Yao make the best sense for everyone in the situation?!?!?!?

I mean come on, the Bulls want Jwill, golden state want jwill, everyone but us and maybe new york would actually select Yao given the first choice, sure most people would like him at 2, but unless a good backcourt team in need of a center gets their grubby hands on it, then their taking jwill. Even the Chicago media is hyping the media war, maybe thats why brand gets dealt for a number 2, I mean if Golden State and a hand full of other teams start heating up for their desperation to get JWill, Krause can do the smartest thing hes ever done, secure the number one get the man they need. Jwill enhance Rose, Mercer, whoever, feeding it into their rising big men... it just makes sense that this happens, I even see the relations to the 84, jwill and yao will never be as sure as those two , so it all comes back to us.

WHY NOT STEAL CURRY and GET YAO??!??!

trade curry for whatever you want, put a rice on it dump some cash, I know for a fact that the Clippers would be talking... Lamer Odom anyone??? I mean come on, this whole, were just gonna bow our heads do the right thing, make everyone happy, sure its makes for a respectable organization, but we need some cut throat peppered in to go with our wily diplocmacy....

    scene:
CD: "Well Jerry to be honest, we saw how it went down in China, sure if we keep happy faces and shaking hands going the whole deal looks good for the press, but the bottom line is Yaos got truly girlish arms, and were afraid were not willing to take a franchise risk on a chinese controversy"
Jerry: "That bad huh... this is crazy talk, how does Les feel about it"
CD: "Well, weve been made an offer that, unless the heaven have something better, were gonna take JWILL at ONE and trade him, pick up a lottery picks and some real impact players, it just seems better in the long run"
Jerry: "Now hold on a sec, theres no reason to be acting rash CD, here, get on a plane to Chicago, we have thinks to discuss, will have some good food, theres no reason to go and do anything massive without at least stopping by and having a chat with your good old buddy Jerry now is there?"
CD: "I'd knew you'd feel that way, but we pretty much have our mind made up on JWILL"
Jerry: "Wow, well good for you, I guess we can pencil you guys in for tommorow night, does that sound good?"

The Rockets don't want to take the chance that Krause would take Ming, it's been reported that he really wants Ming and J WIll is a smoke screen or that the Bulls would then trade the pick for someone wanting Ming. Too many variables are left uncontrolled, especially when dealing with Krause.

Plus, to get China to do the deal, they want Ming drafted first and the prestige (and extra salary) that goes along with being the first pick.

    Not going to happen.

The Rockets have said time and time again they will not trade the pick unless Yao cannot play the full season & playoffs going forwards.

Plus we have given the Chinese assurances we won't trade Yao, yet here we are pulling moves getting tricky on them at the end? I don't think that would go over well at all.

Normally that would make great sense to play the Bulls against all others who want Williams. And if Yao were an American player,I'm sure CD would milk something out of it AND get his man.

But the most important issue here is to have Yao for the whole season plus the playoffs. I'd rather lose the chance to get a bonus player/pick rather than risk losing the credibility they've seemingly gained with the Chinese officials, which could result in their limiting Yao's availability. Plus it could tick them off enough that they wouldn't allow him to play beyond his initial contract.

Krause doesnt want Ming, the only thing I could see they could get by actually trading Ming would be from the Knicks, I don't know if they want another player that plays Jalens position, they need a playmaker and the Knicks for sure don't have that...

I understand the sentiment.... damn the chinese government, why cant Ming for all the damn hype be subjected to what everyone else.......

it is pointless, I say in my dream world, but damn ming has really got to live up to expectations cause I know for sure we could play up the bidding on this and get some really good commodities and a number 2-3 pick to possible pick up the guy we want at one...

    THIS IS NONSENSE
