We have a lot of ideas about what these expiring contracts can bring to a team. We've seen the Brown for Gasol deal which was crazy, but what about the jackson, head, fracis, hayes contract? I know one thing the rich will get richer because if a guy that can't play like brown can get Gasol, what can a 15m Odom expiring can bring LA? It seems like we're always pulling short straws.

Is there a question in here that wasn't discussed many times elsewhere already or did you just start the thread because you think the rest of us have not thought about this topic and this message needs to be hears?

I was scrolling thru contracts and came to uh oh. Maybe I should have fished around and put it in that thread and I did, maybe I just missed it. Many have optimism about a gasol like deal with the expiring contracts, but the odom deal will trump ours. He's young, versitile can play and has a 15m expiring. If he played as well as he did against SA, but seeing the poor play, he might be moved. The options range from Artest to Jefferson to Maggette to any 2/3 that a struggling team might want to dump. Its not something that sits well being a Rox fan.

who would you have as a 3rd or 4th option if you are Phil?
When you already have a Kobe and Gasol combination. And Bynum returning next season.

Another scorer, to take away shots from kobe, a ball handler that demands the ball?

Or odom, who will provide size, defense and ball handling?
