I know a lot of people are screaming for a trade of some sort.

And though the Rockets are just a few games above 500 and seem rather inconsistent at times, one thing to consider before getting on them too much is that they have played more road games (total of 17 on the road compared to 12 at home) than anyone else in the conference, except for Minnesota and Memphis - who have also played 17.

Considering their home record is A LOT better than their road record (and same with other teams), I think we can leapfrog over a team or two in the standings.

Before we make any trades, I'd like to see how this team develops with JVG's system and where they stand when their road/home games even out a bit.

No way...The Rockets have already proven they are capable of nothing more than medocrity with the current group of players. They've shown no progress or improvement since the first game. We've already seen how they develop within the system, and they haven't, and I don't see any reason that can change. The team needs to be overhauled for their own good and for our sanity...

The really sad part is that management seems to be satisfied with the current team. If the Rockets somehow do make the playoffs and get ass-raped in the first round by the Lakers or the Spurs, the season will be viewed as a success and there probably won't be major changes made, even though the fans know poor basketball and inconsistency when they see it...
