Dan Martin of the New York Post: Houston Rockets assistant coach Patrick Ewing is hoping that he is not on the coaching of Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy much longer, instead he wants to be a head coach.

"I'm just waiting for an opportunity," Ewing said before the Rockets handed the Knicks a 111-79 throttling last night at the Garden. "I'm ready."

    HAHAHAHA

    Anybody think Isiah is listening?

Pat, let me be the first to pack your bags. Congratulations.

No need to actually land that next job... get your name out there, man! I suggest you resign immediately, just to let them know you're available.

Pat, leaving the Rockets would make a big statement about your confidence in being able to be a great head coach! I suggest you do it, teams will swarm for you!

Did K. Brown improve during his tenure in Washington?
Does Yao improve during his tenure in Huston?

    Bye

what ever happened to the dream idea?

few years back when Yao was first drafted.

the hakeem rumors as asst. coach swirled to teach Yao, but at the time he was under contract (if you can call it that) with the Toronto Raptors.

Wondering if Hakeem has said anything or silent so far?

Hakeem has never seemed to be the mentor or coaching type. I wouldn't mind seeing Kareem or Moses work with Yao and the other big men.
