Alston's going to do alright in Miami. That was really the best situation for him. It's nice when you can make a trade that helps your team, but you also do right by the players you're trading away.

They should refuse to let him wear a jersey until he hits a jump shot.

I've always said that ifyou don't turn rafer loose and be a true pg he is, it really diminishes what he can do. He is a pure pg and of course, the pg's ny normally can't shoot. He gets on teams that has finishers, scorers and slashers, he ok. When you expect him to spot up and be a scorer, that's not going to work. The team he's on is good for him because he can push, throw the alleys to howard and when orlando run some baseline screens and stuff, they have knock down shooters like hedo and rashard. It was a win-win for both sides.

Dude, he hates T-Mac. So its fitting his first game, he goes 1-9, just like T-Mac would. Wears #1 to take jabs at T-Mac, and makes 1 shot as another jab at T-Mac.

I like rafer and I wish him well but he's always been a terrible alley oop thrower, though I think anyone can get it up for dwight. Actually fornhus street ball credentials he's not very good with the creative passes, though his ball handling and low turnovers is more valuable.

It's gonna be a good deal for both teams though we still own the
    Magic head to head.

Just wait until the playoffs when teams leave him wide open because he sucks at shooting...and he no longer has ANYONE to pass it to...

Rafer is a decent backup PG, but if they are relying on a sub 40% career shooter in the playoffs, it is intant fail.

Are we gonna need a new thread each time he's interviewed or does something now?
