It's pretty ridiculous. I can't even count the number of times I've seen complex trades proposed that have an endgame of swapping Yao for Chris Kaman. Or bringing in Rudy Fernandez, Travis Outlaw, etc.

Why does a good portion of this forum want to sell low and buy high?

It's been like this for a while now. I'm surprised you've just noticed it.

This might be one of those thoughts that could have been expressed in an existing thread. Just an idea. As for the topic, I think the board has gone collectively nuts. We're half a game out of first in our division, with a key player (Battier) still out and others still getting over injuries and into NBA shape. A couple of wins with the team actually playing well would be the cure.

the older you get and the more decades of bball you watch, the less prone you become to wild, kneejerk reactions. perspective is a wonderful, calming thing.

It's part of an unwritten Clutchfans drinking game.

Take 1 shot for Dada's knee jerk thread.
Take another for his total 180, I was wrong, but not wrong thread...

I want to sell low on this thread.

[If you're going to make a thread about a random thought, at least expound upon it or back it up with some data/evidence.]

If the world wasn't full of morons who sell low and buy high, professional stock traders would all be out of business.

When you say homers, are you referring to homer the great Greek poet and philosopher? or Homer Simpson?

Michael Redd was my favorite. This was before Michael Redd was Micahel Redd.

If I recall, he killed us with a bunch of threes.

No, I meant that before we knew he was a good shooter. I think this is when they had Gary Payton and Ray Allen, or maybe just Ray Allen.

I say the rockets play some excellent games and let the fans of our opponents talk about trade for our guys.
