The Houston Rockets are a very unique team. They are not quite a bad team and they certainly aren't great. But, this team had great talent (Yao, Franchise), and on the other hand it has no talent (nachbar, padget). So where do the Rockets stand? They are a middle of the road team 6 or 7 in the West as their record indicates. The fact of the matter is Francis is no point guard and it is obviously clear to most members of this board. Jim Jackson also is not a starter and probably not Cat Mobley. Asd I mentioned before, I think Van Gundy should make the Rockets game a bit more open. That way more easy buckets are allowed in this system. right now the rockets have to spit blood to score playing a ridiculously long and boring half court game. I notice that the Rockets don't like to cut like the Kings or Nets or even spurs. There is a lack of motion seen in teams like Dallas or pacers. no 2 man game, pick and rolls, the rockets don't like to PASS!! how do you win without passing and trusting each other? I just think a deal for Ray Allen and/or Barry would be nice. Or snow and/or iverson is ideal. First priority would be point guard. I like the idea of adding a player like Van exel or even Dampier. This offseason should be interesting.
