Wow the Rockets are looking great so far, the Defense and Rebounding has really picked up and the offense is looking superb, Playoffs here we come. Here's a wrap on the players so far: Dream: He is playing like he is only 34 years old, great numbers and contribution, scoring well and has a great infectious attitude that will only help the youngsters. Grade: B+ Walt: Wow, this guy is great, shooting, driving, and now even some Defense and really has become the rebounding beacon in a dominating front court. Grade: A- Mo Taylor: Undeservedly dogged by the dim wits on BBS, has delivered lots to the rockets that is not recorded on the stats sheets and recently is even contributing there is well. Has stepped up the D, rebounding and scoring in the last week and will soon have many on BBS complaining of stats padding. Grade: A KT: There is no way this guy is only a second year player, the defense and rebounding are a great assest to the rockets, but his bonus is his shooting especially the addition of the three, which to prevent opposition defenses from collapsing. Grade: A- Shandon A: This guy is Clutch, he delivers Defense, team play and daggars in the 4th night after night. The longer he plays for Houston the more I think Mario is a poor mans Shandon. Grade: A Steve: What can this guy not do, he runs the offense, scores, rebounds like a demon, looks after the ball and gives out sweet dishes and plays defense like there is no tomorrow. He really has become the symbol of the new era of Houston Basketball Grade: A+ Cuttino: Plenty of people have mocked Cat in the past, but not any more, the complete package, he as added Defense, rebounding and passing to his already explosive and accurate offensive ability. Great keep Houston. Grade: A+ Moochie: On any other team this guy would be a starting PG, the smooth passing and scoring Froed one is keeping the pressure on Steve. Grade: B+ Bullard: The cool headed veteran has been on top of game this season and to the surprise of many has had several multiple block games and a few multiple rebounding games. Keep up the good work Bull. Grade: A- Collier: Delivered what most thought he couldn't do in this league, scoring, rebounding and a big body on defense. What shame he was stuck down by injury Grade: B+ Cato: Now he is back from injury the Rockets are only going to get WAY better, his high intensity offense and defense will help push the rockets further forward. Grade: Incomplete Rogers: Delivered whenever called upon, once he returns from injury and if he can repeat his early season form he will deserve more minutes Grade: B+ Rudy: What can you say about, 400 wins, this guy is great, a genius, a messiah, he does it and knows it all, and continues to call the shots for the Rockets brilliantly. Actually, let me change Steve's grade to a B-. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know he's a young player, but he needs to be more forceful and direct, especially on the offensive end. He also needs to be more consistent on D. And if I drop Steve down to a B-, I got to drop Cat down to a B- because,....well, you know (Just Kidding!! ). Although I am hard on them after losses, I am pretty pleased with the season so far. 13-10 is not bad at all compared to 6-17 last year. Francis and Dream both get A's. The rest of the team including Rudy gets B's.
