He started his own church in Atlanta, GA called S.A.N.E. Church or Saving A Nation Endangered. He received a doctorate in theology in 2002. Wow, stuff like this makes me question my own agnostic ways sometimes.
Mase retired a long time ago...Lil Troy was locked up for a while, but now he's back. His son T2 has been on the scene rapping with ESG and Slim Thug. Lil Troy should be releasing his album pretty soon.
the only one i can think of off-hand (and possibly the best rapper out there male or female) is missy elliott. anyway... it sucked to see mase leave stardom to pursue something else, but i guess he found his "purpose" (what anotherbrother was talking about in d&d). truly talented rapper. he certainly had his own style.
Im not a huge rap fan, but I remember when I heard about him leaving for his "purpose" in life....the church. I do remember that he could rap well. Good for him.

Tupac's real name was Lesane Parish Crooks until the Black Panthers changed it. There is a terrorist group in Peru called "Movimiento Revolucionario Tupac Amaru" (Revolutionary Movement Tupac Amaru), which aims to establish a Marxist regime and to rid Peru of all imperialist elements (primarily US and Japanese influence). I'm not sure if that's where his new name came from or not, but I would suspect so.

What ever happened to Professor Griff? Or Terminator X? Never badder than bad cause this brother is madder than mad at the fact that's corrupt like a senator.
