I would buy one if it was affordable. I'm willing to give up speed and performance for the environment but not willing to pay $100,000 for a car.
$100,000 Takes 3 hours to charge per 250 miles. So you can't travel with it very well. I can't travel to see my family in West Texas in it. Or if I travel 250 miles, I can't use the car once I'm at the destination. So only a regional car. How clean is it really? Requires charging, so more home electricity. Most people get there power from fossil fuels in their home. How many hundreds of lbs. of spent battery cells go into the environment at EOL? Must they be replaced? If it breaks, where do I get it fixed? What if I'm on the road and I break down? Does it have to get towed all the way to a major city for repairs?
