First i must state i think Ming will be a great player for the Rox. Now to the post...

In the chance Ming is a bust (tho unlikely), the man has the same value as a tradeable asset as an All-Star. How many "struggling" teams would give their proverbial first born for the chance at the guaranteed revenue streams from Asia (note: not just china!).

If he was traded, we could ask for the moon (sorry about the use of cliches)

And a general comment on Ming (that i posted in http://bbs.clutchcity.net/newreply.php?s=&action=newreply&postid=483323) ...

... I think i might make that my new signature :D

I totally disagree. If you are correct, then Wang would be one of the hottest free agents around.

Wang might actually be a hot commodity. There isn't any word about ANY of the free agents and their worth on the open market.

I think he's got a point. Let's say some 6,6 dude is a bust. We're screwed. There's no way we get anything. Yao is crowd pleaser and he's enormous. I think, if he's healthy, he'll always have some trade value. Even if he stinks.
