If you are wondering how Crypto or NFT's work, and how it can be tied into gaming, come check out the livestream.

Watching people in emerging markets grind away their youths for a cut of the crypto doesn't sound that glorious.

Essentially this is a way for individual gamers to get sponsored in tournaments - and earn real world money...

    Yeah, a natural progression.

Hottest games (in terms of market cap) are really primitive atm. Which is fine since the most important part is blockchain integration/optimization.

Might be too ahead of its time, but worth a livestream.

Don't have time to just jump into the middle of a livestream to judge if any of this is a good idea, but I can try to check it out later (assuming it is archived, or if people want to put summaries here).

Can't say I'm optimistic about anything crypto related being good for gaming though:

I'm guessing it'll be monetized with its own token while providing Twitch like services and could branch into jpegs and rep.

    Can't hate the hustle.

    Join using my referral code.

It is an ESPORTS gaming platform to pay players and has a true ranking system to allow players to recruit their own teams in a central location.

Skimmed over their website and whitepaper. Don't really see why they need NFTs/blockchain to do some/all of those things (at least the important stuff), and the fact they promote those things (yay smart contracts!) makes this feel like grifting. Seeing referral codes is just the cherry on top.

Just seem like more of the same crypto nonsense we see elsewhere.

As long as it isn't something like Axie where the barrier of entry is ridiculous to the point where poor people are Sponsored by rich folk/old crypto money to get a dole on the returns.

Reminds me of Chinese WoW farming plus more volatility.

An advisor on the game side....building a game with audience participation.

Essentially it is a tournament platform that has a player ranking and makes it easier for sponsors to find and support up and coming players......

From my perspective, these are a great way to get a project funded, as publishers are risk averse and basically don't want to do anything innovative......these guys are all about innovation and if they will fund our projects we weill support their endeavors.....

    Aren't you anti bitcoin?

And how does decentralization solve any of these problems?

No, not at all - I thought Bitcoin would be shut down by the government - and I ignored my CTO who bought like $100 of it when it first came out....he is now rich ....rich ....rich.....

    So, I missed that boat........

I am not an evangilist on crypto in any way, I am a content creator.

Maybe y'all can just drop the crypto nonsense and just implement the good stuff. :p

I do have huge problems with a lot of the claims and ideas being promoted here, but I'll stay quiet on that and wish you good luck with this project.
