LMAO! The Rockets are 15th. Gotta love the beginning of the season!

15 (4) Rockets 1-1 If Denver's outlook has changed, how about Houston's? Rockets won't be doing any playoff damage if T-Mac doesn't shake these back and knee woes.

i'll just throw out the 'ol "good, i'd prefer to stay under the gaydar" comment.

besides, a lot of upsets are caused by teams undermining their opponents. (ie a lot of our losses last year)

What was the low point in the Rockets record last year? Just curious.

Power Rankings are stupid. That's why we have regular rankins, and playoffs.

power rankings are the greatest....2 games into the season and with one guy at 3 weeks we are lottery bound...fanstastic.

well, if we continue to play like we did last game, and if T-Mac misses more than 3 weeks with injuries, we might just be ...

anyways ......i don't have a problem with the rankings ...we haven't looked good enough to justify a high ranking IMO

This is a POWER ranking. It's not projecting the draft sequence. Power rankings compare teams on the basis of, not just talent, but more also on momentum and potential.

I'm not surprised. We got beaten by the Hornets 3 games in a row.. once last year, twice this year.... JVG has a lot of work to do, he's standing close to the exit door..

It's ranking how teams look right now. And if anything, it put us a little high. We wouldn't beat half the teams in the league right now if we play like we did Sat.

It's early. Give them time, then pass judgement. Just like last year. New faces, injuries, etc. Let them have a chance to work through it.

It's early too early for this anyway. I think the power ranking should go month by month, in the NBA at least.

As other people have said, for this week I think #15 is pretty generous. I for one like the power rankings 'cause you can debate about who's the hottest team in the league on any given week. It helps keep the season fresh.

It realy is. no one can carry this team with out him.

Anyways, these rankings only last a week. They are as pointless as anything.

I don't mind us being ranked so low without T-Mac.

I just don't understand how the Suns are ranked so high without Amare. They can kiss their hopes of deep playoffs goodbye just as well as we can without T-Mac, but somehow they're at number 6?

They're at .500, just like us. Just like us, they need their superstar to have a hope of taking it all home.

    But they're 6 while we're 15.

Whatever. T-Mac will be back a lot quicker than Amare will, and we'll see who's ranked where.
