meaning that he will getthe calls this year....I agree and you can already see flashes of that in the preseason.

saw this yesterday, but didnt think it was worth talking about..
besides, I knew that someone here would take it as a slam on Yao, which it isnt.

agreed.... not a slam on Yao... but a pretty dumb category to put him in.

    A better category:

Big brother - little brother combo:

Hot - Yao Ming and Steve Francis
Not Hot - Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant

(see Kobe's latest rant on espn.com to make sense of this).

You can't really argue with anything Kobe says though.

He's talking about seniority, not age. You Yao only fans are unreal.

Rockets2K you seem to be somewhat rude in a subtle way with some of your posts lately.

ya know...its really funny you mention that about this post..

That post is probably the least sarcastic I have been all week..

what you see as rudeness is merely my sarcastiv nature shining thru...I have spent many years on here holding back and playing nice..You will also notice that my sarcasm is usually directed at trolls and idiots...if you make a good post, I'll give a good response. Just check the posts of mine that are actually about on-the-court action...

in recent weeks, my level of sarcasm has risen directly proportional to the level of stupidity. ;)

    thanks for noticing...

On a side not from ESPN, Jack Ramsey predicted that Yao will win the most improved player of the year and David Aldridge predicted that our very own MOOCHIE will win that.

I really don't know what the artist is trying to tell us with that list.

Bad sports journalism. They could not even be bothered to edit some formatting stuff out of that list.

This is just a recurring feature they run on ESPN. It's all in fun, and it's not meant to be taken seriously.

    Don't fret.

It means he is not the guy who needs calls to score...he just scores without complaining..he doesn't need calls...but he will be more aggressive this year and more confident and better! Domination! Hopefully he will get more calls...please less foul calls on him..
