I was thinking top 20 for sure, but then again they have the Grizzlies at 9, the Braves at 19 and the Patriots all the way at 38.....

Spurs are ranked first in their players' "Effort on the field and likability off it."?

There's some credibility in that the Texans' coaching score is one of the lowest listed.

    I think they're somewhat fair -
Rockets #9 in the NBA, above the Heat
    Texans #77/#16 in the NFL.
Washington almost rock bottom in the NFL - makes sense, as they gouge their fanbase for almost no return.
Astros #88/#26 in the MLB. A touch higher than I would have suspected. A little surprised to see the Cubbies down near the very bottom. Red Sox just above them is even more surprising. I can't believe their fans are that unhappy what with two championships in the last decade.

Ticket prices carry a little too much weight in this, in my opinion.

And Saints as #3 overall? Really?

yeah it's much easier being a Rockets fan (37) than a Yankees fan (75)....or a Texans fan instead of Red Sox fan.

    Send this to Solomon!

The Rockets ranked FOURTH, behind only the Spurs, Bulls and Thunder as far as PLAYER EFFORT was concerned.

I hated reading Solomon's BS articles criticizing the Rockets for "selling" us on how hard they've played the last couple of years.

I don't think ESPN has any loyalty towards the Rockets or any reason to rank them higher than they deserved to be.

But, if he didn't see a distinct difference in watching the Rockets play the last two years (especially the year before this last) and the majority of NBA teams, he simply doesn't know basketball.

Don't get me wrong... I'm tired of "having" to be proud of their effort and definitely am ready to see some playoffs again and of course another title.

But, his negative and ridiculous articles basically saying the organization was "selling" the fans on the "effort" were completely ridiculous.
