I love the Longhorns and will always bleed orange, but actions like these seem to happen EVERY summer and it's making it difficult to defend them each and every single time.

There will be idiots at every corner of Earth. I gotta admit Kindle's stupidity is hilarious. Such is the case with numerous athletes.

"He knew he was hurt at the time and that he needed to go home and go to bed," Brian Roark, Kindle's lawyer, told the newspaper.

    LOL.

That's a totally natural reaction. You drive your car into someone's apartment? Go home and get into bed IMMEDIATELY.

He is going to be a beast this year. I'm expecting double digit sacks and a full out assault on Sam Bradford.

    Not quite:

According to witnesses, Kindle and several occupants got out of the car and pushed it out of the residence and down the road before abandoning it, police said.

First, move and ditch the car, and THEN go to bed immediately.

It's gonna be hard to do that if you miss 3 games. And he'd be lucky to miss only 3 games since this is his second infraction... he already has a DWI. Any other player would get the boot.

Probably be more like double digit incarceration.

As long as he didn't kill anyone let him play. We have a shot at the championship next year.

True, but when you are a football player of a one of the all-time-great college programs and expected to be the leader on the defense and the team, you can't do something stupid like this :(

At least man-up and admit your fault or something....

Except there was no law broken here. Kindle called the next morning and took responsibility, there will be no charges pressed. Nobody was hurt so there is no hit-and-run, and any speculation about alcohol is just that, speculation. I would be shocked if he missed a game.

Running your car into a building and causing $8000+ in damages doesn't violate any laws like perhaps reckless driving or something of the sort?

Also, you don't have to hit a person to be involved with a hit and run.

I think this team has a couple of question marks:

DT: not much depth here, as Roy Miller and Aaron Lewis hurts; hopefully Kheeston Randall or Ben Alexander can step it up.
RB: between Fozzy, Cody, Vondrell, and Hills somebody needs to carry the load.

It's legal to drive your car into a building? It's legal to leave the scene for 8 hours while there's a big hole in the building you just wrecked and there could be injuries in there?

Yes apparently you are allowed to leave the scene when you hit a building or other nonmoving object, as long as you report it in a timely fashion like Kindle did.

Great pic! He really drove right into Bradford's chest!

Probably gave him such a headache, he had to go home and go right to bed.
