.....or should I say source....Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo. ESPN has been late on every single trade being reported. Adrian reports them long before ESPN even mentions any names. And when it finally shows up on ESPN, shows up as "SOURCES"....which of course is Adrian of Yahoo. This is downright embarrassing for ESPN and all the clowns it hires.
They got blacklisted I'm sure. That network has become daytime soap for men. Which is too bad because sportscenter highlights used to be one of the best things on tv. Lebron giving the scoop to SI over Espn was all I needed to see.
No I think you got it partly right but the rest is wrong. It goes like this Woj breaks the news about the trade ESPN then have their NBA guys(Stein/Broussard/etc) call the people they know in the organizations involved in the trade to then confirm the news. Then ESPN puts out a report about said trade and then can use the word "Sources" for "Sources confirm" or "Sources tell ESPN" because it's technically correct and they don't then have to credit Woj or any other outlet. ESPN ain't dumb.
The Spurs, OKC, etc. He scratches a lot of backs. The only reporter I saw at the NBA finals that RC Buford took time to talk to before/after the games. And it's the NBA Finals, there were TONS of reporters/national media. Woj has his people.
don't act like Woj don't have inside scoop on Houston either. fluff dwight howard piece is all you need to see
A couple of drama queens named Mike on their morning drive show, too. The sports talk equivalence of Nancy Grace.
It sucks they canceled Highlight Express on ESPNNEWS. At least one could always tune in to watch that and get nothing but highlights.
on Twitter just before the trade deadline, Stein tweeted that according to "ESPN sources", Isaiah Thomas was traded to Sixers ... and 30 secs later Woj tweeted that I.T was shipped to Celtics ... i knew who to believe in a heartbeat ...
