    I'm actually kinda shocked.... I was for sure we'd be flying under the radar. Just last night I was sitting at a bar with a Lakers fan watching the LeBronathon. We talked about that for awhile. Then, on his way out, he says, "But one thing's for sure, the Rockets have a long way to go". I just said, "we'll see..."

    He sure does. Still, I'm surprised at a #5 ranking in the entire NBA... I was thinking maybe in just the West.

    The Thunder, Nuggets, Mavericks and Spurs are all still going to be quite good.

    That said, the Rockets are still perfectly capable of beating the Lakers as constructed right now.

    Arnovitz doesn't love the Rockets, per se, but rather he loves the Rockets management, from Morey down to Adelman. Very knowledgeable guy with very good insights. Every time we play the Clippers, I read his articles on the game for his insights.

    It's a crying shame that he's a Clippers fan.

    Sheridan is a closet Rockets fan. I remember back in the 2009 playoff predictions, he picked Houston to beat Portland later was the only one picking us over the Lakers.

    I think thats why so many of the so called "experts" dont have the Rockets ranked high yet. Come March and April you will see how many of those guys will change their minds about us.

    Yeah, how unreasonable to pick the defending champions as the best team in the league going into next season. :rolleyes:
