Answering a question, last night about the Carter trade. Rose responded with "Thats the worst kept secret that Vince, Marshall and I will be traded."

Since all the speculation is revolved around the Rockets in this trade, I decided to post it here instead of the NBA Dish.

The last thing I read was that there is alot of speculation that Rose & Marshall would be heading to Miami. Zo might either be included in the deal or Toronto would buy his contract out and he would sign with Miami.

So the Heat would be looking to add Zo, Marshall and Rose for Eddie Jones and Malik Allen? Nice moves. Hey, they are looking to "win now" so why not!?!?

Funny, the Heat are built similarly to the Rockets. They have a center in Shaq like we have in Yao. They have a top SG in Wade like we have in McGrady. Basically BOTH teams run similar offenses.

But what is sad is the PERSONNEL moves the Heat are making are the ones the ROCKETS "should" be making.

The Heat got Damon Jones. We got Ward. The Heat are looking to get Marshall at PF much like we probably hoped to get. They are trying to get Rose as a 3rd scoring option, something the Rockets might be intereted in.

Getting Zo would also be huge. Doleac has played good minutes for the Heat as a backup C but getting Zo in there would add extra insurance and give them someone that can also play PF.

They have Riley and we have CD plus they don't care about breaking the bank. Oh, they also have the better VanGundy.

If the Heat make that deal, I'd have to move them to the top of the list of teams that I expect to come out of the East. Shrug, oh well, let's hope Ward comes back hot, because you know he's coming back, and Van Gundy is gonna have him in the lineup.

I think rose's overbloated contract would not do us any good for the long run. IMO, we have more upside than miami, seeing as how shaqs 32 and yao's 23.

The only way i would like it, if we were to get rid of maybe Taylor and Spoon for him that way we get rid of 2 bad contracts for 1 and they have the same length still on them.

But in return we are getting someone who can score from anywhere and play 3 positions on the floor. Only problem being tha the is a like a black hole, when he touches the ball he doesn't pass it back it will basically be a shot attempt lol...

Also i don't think we can take another Michigan star....we haven't had the best luck with them.

Absolutely do not need Jalen Rose. I doubt CD will go for him unless there's some other incentives to get Rose.

Only incentive is that we get 1 bad contract instead of 2 if we trade away spoon and mo lol
