.......according to ESPN Sportscenter Nationals GM' JIm Bowden says Soriano will be dealt before the trade deadline and supposedly he has one big offer on the table as he talks to a few other teams. "The three teams who are rumored to have the offer on the table or have the strongest interest are the Twins, Astros and Tigers"
He has to be dealt... that we knew without the media telling us that. Everything after that is just posturing by Bowden... if he's the one leaking those three teams, you know he's really fishing for the bigger teams in their division (or in basebal) to start biting a little. The longer this plays out, the more desperate these wheeling and dealing GM's are going to get.
I knew this thread looked familiar, he just jacked it from an Astros.com message board lol. http://www.forums.mlb.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=ml-astros&msg=53978.1&ctx=0
yeah and so. It's just news. And that forum is were it is all basically being consolidated at. So who cares.
We would definitly tear up the schedule the rest of the year and coast into wild card or take the division if we pick up soriano
Soriano will be real nice but what about that weak ass bullpen we have. No way is that bullpen playoff caliber. Qualls and Lidge are a joke. We have so many needs that I think the season is done.
