Havent see this posted yet but had a rockets mention. I totally remember this game, too bad i really sucked at it then always fun to see big heads on the players. This is from Marc Stein http://espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-100319-20/nba-jam
My preferred basketball games over NBA Jam: NBA Live '95 (1995 was the greatest year in sports obvi) Arch Rivals (arcade game with the buttons "shoot", "pass", "punch", and "kick"
HELL YUSS!! I used to play this game a lot at the UH UC Underground. Good shizniet. Good news on the Wii too. Now I don't feel as r****ded for buying a Wii. Is there a way we can download the old NBA Jam for the PC? Hakeem was full of win in that.
I just did a little research, apparently you can download the PC version of this game. Unfortunately upon looking at the screen shots, it doesn't look anything like the game I played at the arcades.
Looks like it could possibly capture some of the old glory... However, I heard that Marv Albert isn't rolling on this project. Makes PlanetG very sad...
the old NBA Jam had a fatal flaw, once you got on fire you could goal tend your opponent's shot every time and stay on fire and just shoot threes and never fall behind
All you need to do is YouTube 'SNES emulator for PC' SNES - super nintendo entertainment system Emulator - software imitator then go to doperoms.com and download NBA JAM (Warning - this is illegal unless you actually own the game and only downloading it as a back up)
Yep. You have to be directly under the basket. It is nearly unblockable. My friends and I call it "the cheeseball dunk".
