He's coming up soon! ESPN Radio link A summary of what was discussed: Dan: When did you find out about DWade's injury and will it hurt Miami's chances at the playoffs? TMac: Found out after the game in the locker room. Said Shaq played great and still have a chance with a motivated Shaq. Dan: Everytime he was watching the game, TMac was bombing from the perimeter. TMac: I was on a roll. [Then TMac went 3rd person on Dan. Funniest moment was Dan calling him out on it!] Dan: Who is the best team in the NBA? TMac: Dallas, but he likes their chances against Dallas. Phoenix is tough because of Steve Nash, who penetrates and makes amazing passes that are on target for his shooters. He said they can't trade buckets with Phoenix. Dan: What was your first impression of Nash? TMac: Small, short, Canadian, but figured out he can play in his last year at Dallas. But still he knew he was good, but not this good now. Dan: If his job was not to score, but to guard Steve Nash, what would he do? TMac: Come up with the flu. Dan: Who would he least like to guard in order - Kobe, Nash, Lebron, DWade? TMac: Nash, Kobe, DWade, LeBron Dan: If Kobe gets the green light he can score 80 pts? What can you do to guard him? TMac: Tough, because not matter what you do, guys make shots. Dan: When was your most helpless moment on defense? TMac: Playing against Seattle and Gary Payton in his rookie year. He was not prepared to play and was inserted to guard Payton. He was holding onto Payton and holding onto his shorts because they were not tied on correctly. Dan: Did you have a chance to dunk on Shaq? TMac: Won't do it because of Shaq's physical presence. Can put a foreman out and knock him down. He's the only one he won't dunk on. He's dunked on Motumbo, Zo and Shawn Bradley. Dan: At least Shawn Bradley tries to challenge shots. How is Yao in challenging shots/dunks? TMac: Yao is getting better, but gets posterized alot. Dan: How much Chinese do you know? TMac: Very little. Some meet and greet and then breaks out "Ni hao?"!?!? [Awesome!!!] Dan: During your downtime, you should learn Chinese since you go to China alot. You are a god in China, literally since China Sports Illustrated's cover proclaimed TMac a god. Tmac: Good idea. Thousands of fans wait for him at the airport, hotel, etc. Incredible. Dan: So will you put up 40 points on Atlanta? TMac: I'm capable. Dan: So should I pencil-in 40 on Atlanta? TMac guarantees 40 on Atlanta. Tmac: I didn't say that... Good interview. TMac is nice, relaxed and funny.
- Says Dallas is best team but would rather face them than Phx. - Loves Nash and would rather guard Wade, LeBron, and Kobe instead of Nash - Won't dunk on Shaq out of fear of getting hurt - Speaks very little Chinese - He is a big celeb in China - Getting 40 against Atlanta is a possibility
Crap, I only tuned in in time for the "40 on Atlanta" segment. Funny, but I wish I could've heard the rest.
don't know if you're being sarcastic but just in case, the whole 40 point on atlanta thing was completely from patrick's side. tracy was just having fun with it. i liked the interview though, different than the usual.

The interview runs long. I ended up getting baseball garbage at the end. I'll edit it better next time.
