    http://sports-att.espn.go.com/nfl/index - Bottom right of page

    Results so far across the SportsNation:

    David Carr with Reggie Bush - 78%
    Joey Harrington with Mike Martz - 22%

    Only Michigan thinks Harrington/Martz is a better combo.

    In Texas, it's 76% to 24% in favor of Carr/Bush combo.

    IIRC, I think Texas was the only state that thought UT would win the Rose Bowl. SportsNation is useless and simply regurgitates what they see on ESPN.

    That's cool how you can see where the votes came from. Now I wish they would do a Vince vs Reggie poll.

    I can tell you right now

    Texas = 80% Young - 20% Bush
    Overall = 90% Bush - 10% Young

    I don't think you need to be that good to be better than Harrington.

    Exactly.

    Rezdawg - Mike Martz would probably get more votes than Harrington - Mike Martz.

    Your ESPN. Why the **** do you need to hawk Sex and the City DVD's? Holy crap that's annoying.

    Why is that show all of a sudden everywhere?

    False.

    Sportsnation already had this poll in the last month... it was for ESPN the Mag's "NEXT" issue where they feature the next great/transcendent athlete on the cover. It's an annual thing. The two leading candidates were Vince and Reggie... and the overall winner, from all states and internationally, was... Vince Young. So much for that theory.

    Besides, I would hope that after the Rose Bowl, you guys would finally grasp the concept that players in big media markets (LA) from glamour teams (USC) get overhyped relative to their competition, and just because a majority of the country thinks they're the best doesn't mean it's accurate at all. I guess y'all didn't learn. Most of America (more than 40 states) picked USC to win the game and Bush as the best player in the country... that didn't mean much on January 4. It's not going to mean a lot on draft day either. Sure, most of America expects Reggie to go to the Texans... because they've been conditioned into that belief by ESPN's hype machine for the last five months. Doesn't mean it's necessarily the right thing to do.
