Is it me or is Yahoo sports catching up to ESPN?
Especially Yahoo's NBA page which is always updated, gets headlines much faster, gamechannel boxscores are usually faster (sometimes), they now offer video, rumors section (like insider, but FREE) and they also have guys doing blogs.. oh and they have a cool image gallery which is constantly updated.
They have the pics of Bonzi and Mike James in their new jerseys and hornets.com doesn't even have them..

I like both, but Yahoo is definitely catching up.

I've always enjoyed Yahoo! more than any other sports website. Now that they are getting serious with their original content, there is no competition...

I never read Yahoo but I have noticed NBA wise they are the first to report anything lately. Also with the Reggie Bush debacle. Yahoo is obviously a legit source.

Until this moment, I had never viewed Yahoo Sports. It looks OK and I'll check it out the next few days. Thanks for bringing it up.

Yahoo. It seems to load faster, less video/flash stuff. ESPN is a great site for a lot of stuff, but when I want to follow BoxScores, I always use Yahoo.

Yahoo. Once ESPN started all that Motion stuff, I stopped going there.

I've always used ESPN.. didn't think much of Yahoo. I'll go check it out. I've never seen many yahoo links in here with articles and stuff, usually box scores or stats, so I guess that's why.

    I absolutely hate ESPNs layout

Everything is just crowded, and way too much stuff on a page

I've preferred Yahoo for years now. I feel that it's less fluff, easier to navigate through scores, box scores, etc. And, since I've been used to doing my fantasy football through Yahoo, it seemed like a seamless transition to get my sports news/ stats from them, too.

I do like that they are branching more into the columnists genre rather than just AP reports and box scores. I also like that they've connected with Rivals.com to give more recruiting info, too.

I actually prefer foxsports.com to espn, yahoo and such. They have better articles and the website imo is much easier to navigate.

I much prefer Yahoo Sports, and have for some time. I do really like CNNSI.com as well, but I visit Yahoo Sports the most.
