http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/powerranking?season=2009&week=0 Texans are 15th. Unchanged from the end of last season.
We haven't had a breakthrough offseason. Other than a new defensive coordinator, which should be big though, I don't see how we would make any big strides.
Correct me if I'm wrong please. According to the list we are ranked 8th in the AFC? Not bad, striking distance.
anybody know any news on Donta? i know he is held up on his contract but how long is this gonna take?
Well, he's willing to hold out as long as it takes, but he has promised Kubiak that he would report on the first day of mandatory workouts, which is in July. Until then, he is not obligated to report. Actually, he's not OBLIGATED to report to anything because he technically has not signed a contract yet, but it would be dumb for him not to report to team activities if he wants to show other teams he can play at an elite level. And I agree for the most part about where they have the Texans, but how can they list the Packers ahead of us? We finished with a higher record last year, beat them ON THE ROAD IN WINTER, and have less question marks on both sides of the ball. Oh well, it's the off-season, and i'm just being nit-picky.
Being a native Houstonian, I hate the Cowgirls as well but...................... Miami's season was a fluke.
Damnit. Sitting here bored on a Sunday wishing it was Football time. Can't wait till the season starts.
It looks like a real possibility that I could have every Sunday off this football season... Bring it on!!!!
