Lock if posted... Move if not Rockets-centric enough... http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12385761/nba-lebron
Which is cool, but just in case since I hope we are all wanting James (Harden NOT LBJ) to get an MVP + Ring, maybe would be of interest. But as said, please move if need be.
Harden is not winning the MVP. The media decides and we all know who they love the most!!! NBA is a business first and a basketball association second.
Best case scenario is Curry wins MVP, Rockets go on to win the championship with Harden Playoffs MVP, THEN go on to win MVP next year and another championship.
I want Harden to get the MVP, but if he doesn't, I hope it does piss him off and he vents by murdering the first team he sees. Then every team until the Warriors so we can see Dream-Robinson all over again. I hope the Rockets get equally pissed if their star player doesn't win, and go looking for a Finals MVP trophy for him.
LOL at the national media falling all over themselves to see who can fellate LeBron first now that the King has officially thrown his crown in the ring. What a joke. If Harden had coasted like LeBron did the first 2 months of the season, can you imagine where the Rockets would be right now? And where would Harden fall in the MVP race?
The problem with LeBron's case that everyone keeps forgetting is, he took the first month off. He wasn't playing that great. The MVP is usually great from start to finish. You don't get to suddenly be MVP because you started playing well over the last 2 months. He's also missed 11 games. The same can be said for Westbrook, although Westbrook had a much, much better case individually than LeBron does. It should be either Curry or Harden if you're going by traditional methods for determining who the MVP is assuming both keep doing what they've been doing all season.
Shoot...I'd rather Curry win it than Lebron. At least Curry didn't basically bail on his team for the first 30 games of the season.
Yo Lebron, remember the first half of the season where u didn't play defense and didn't try hard on offense? You take a 2 week vacay and all of a sudden you can jump out the gym and are the best player in the league again. hmm people ain't that dumb Lebron.
Might be why he is resting tonight. hoping to dominate Rockets next game. He wants to be able to show he beat curry and harden. I hope harden goes off
Pure media narrative. His stats, especially efficiency-wise aren't anywhere near Curry or Harden for the full year, and they won't get there.
Good for him. He quit on his team and pouted the first 2 months of the season, he's disqualified based on that alone. Harden or Curry are the rightful MVP's, been doing it night in and night out all season long. If Lebron were to steal the MVP, this league just drop even lower in credibility.
