Well it's about time he became a realist.

I actually feel sorry for the guy. If he does retire he will go down as one of the most underachieving NBA player ever.

What isn't a possiblity in this guy's mind?

Next week he'll come out saying that he could see himself with the Lakers next year becoming the next Pippen and Jordan combo if paired with Kobe. X2

"[Coach Mike D'Antoni] knew I wasn't going to be the T-Mac he was used to competing against when he was in Phoenix," McGrady said."

LOL @ him using third person to address himself. Egotard.

LOL @ the Phoenix reference. I believe Rockets used to get blown away by the Suns and Mcgrady used to struggle with Marion most of the time.

How can anyone feel sorry for this guy? I can understand feeling sorry for this broken down diva if he could ever learn to keep his trap shut, but he was always "too good" for that. Everything the guy is experiencing now are all the results of his own decisions. For the first time in his life, he has no one to blame but himself, though knowing him, he will probably find something or someone else to blame.

Didn't he recently say he'd come back healthy next year and ready to dominate? What a bum.

Didn't Grover say he was ready near the start of the season? What happened there?

I wish he'd retire just so I don't have to go through another year of hearing about him on here!

I still can't believe the Rockets were able to dump this guy. Not surprised about hearing this, he's a total disappointment.

    T-MAC TO THE RACK!
he'll be back on the rockets next year i guarantee it. it's a secret ploy because morye wanted new york's picks and tmac too! so they acna have tmac adn yao together again, a vengeful duo.

mark my words, i know some people in the rockets. its happening, he could have easily averaged 15ppg+ on the knicks but he tanked. im not saying i like tankers, but he is a true rocket and it has shown! thanks t-mac!!!!!!!!

T-mac will never play for Houston again. Not because he doesn't want to but because this city doesn't want him.

Nobody is going to offer him anything significant.

And it's Tmac talking. Next week he will say that he is 100% and wants to play in the World Championships this summer.
