Check out ESPN's list of the top 20 free agents of 2003. I know the talent pool is deep, but K-9 doesn't even get a SNIFF at the top 20. Kenny is listed in the "other" section on the side. Players in the top 20 include Cliff Robinson, Brad Miller, Jason Terry, and Juwan Howard. I'd take Kenny over those guys ANY day...

Maybe because he is restricted. But more than likely because he is not a big name. Miller and Pimpen didn't make it either.

I once again assert that this board often seriously over-evaluates KT's value.

Kenny dont get no respect. Its probably better that way because then he will be easy to re-sign. Most of those clowns are washed up anyways......

It is more common to UNDERESTIMATE an over=achiever like KT...While some of us consider him valuable because of his never say die attitude others point to his lack of size. I think even here on this board KT is still under=rated...I hope he stays that way until the Rockets re-sign him.............

It seems that our biggest hole is still small foward. Maybe the Rockets should consider, at a reasonable price, Juwan Howard or Corey Maggate (misspelled). They don't have to be the go to guys but we need a solid small foward on both ends of the court.

I know some of you may say that we have KT but defensively he'll have trouble with the quicker small fowards. I can also take into account the glut of forwards. Yet Rice's contract is ending soon, and we can always trade TM for a low first or second rounder.

In an earlier thread today,,...NBA.COM Ratings NBA forwards as follows Corey Maggette #35,,,,,,,Juwan Howard & KT a virtual tie at 14 & 15.... Last I heard Juwan is the most overpaid player in the NBA

I think Kenny is better than Corey Magette and Kenny is a better defensive stoper!

Good. He should be easier to sign. But I definitely disagree with the writer.

After this season, I think they will need to rewrite the article. The guy looks good. Hopefully he won't play TOOOO good and cost us $$$. ;)

If KT were cut free we'd see how many GMs would fall over themselves to sign him. KT is a man. A short (by NBA stds) man. A man w/out a sweet 'J' or killer finish. Just a man's game.

Go KT -- just not away from the Rox!

nah Behad, with his interest he should get a max deal! :D

By the way, in an unrelated note to KT, how many seasons is it going to take before people realize Jason Terry plays point guard? I can see fans making the mistake... but the analysts too? Come on.
