    ESPN Insider's Rox Deal

Ford's Insider column today 'proposes' the following 3-team deal: (sorry links/copy don't work there)

    Francis/Pike to Portland
    GRobinson/McKie to Portland

    Snow/Randolph/Woods/Patterson to Rox

    DDavis/Stoudemire to 6ers

    Ford claims it works 'capwise'.

Access to RealGM should be blocked for that guy. He writes so much nonsense.

The Rockets are going to get Eric Snow, Zach Randolph, Qyntel Woods and Ruben Patterson for Francis and Piatkowski? Anyone know what handle Ford uses here at ClutchFans? Sounds like some of the "Trade Accepted" junk that shows up with great frequency.

    LOL.

Lemme get this straight, the Rockets get Zach Randolph, the future of the Portland Trailblazers, Qyntel Woods, a promising young big, Eric Snow the point guard of the Sixers for the forseeable future, and Ruben Patterson the "Kobe Stopper" (har) for Francis and pike?

    ROFLMAO BBQ WTF!!!!

I like the proposed trade. Maybe he knows something about Shareef being the future PF cause of some of the Randolph off the court the issues, thohg I doubt that's the case.

    Good one. :D

oh yeah, I wouldn't make this deal. I can't stand power forwards who don't give any defensive effort. Give Mo Taylor Zach Randolphs minutes and shot attempts and he'll give you the same game.

Changed the title from "ESPN Insider's Rox Deal" to "ESPN Insider's Fantasy Rox Proposal".

You're kidding right?? I love Mo too, but he could never average 21 and 11, even if he played 48 minutes.....

what games have you been watching bro? Who's that 6-10 guy with a smooth face up jumper that goes in half of the time, and a good drop-step move, and a sweet little hook that is always money. I could of swore his name was Mo Taylor.

It's the same Mo Taylor, who, if he palyed Zach Randolph's 39 minutes a game, would, based on his current per minute averages, score 16.5 points, and grab 8 rebounds a game.

Agreed about Mo's offense. But u cant compare him to a 23 year old who averages 21.4 and 11.10 and is trying to lead his team to the playoffs, all by his onesie though...

Perhaps I should have added to the title, 'For entertainment purposes only'.

well, honestly, the blazers are trying to shed their badboy image. reef and theo will easily offset randolphs production if he is traded.

however, i really dont think the rockets and van gundy want any part of that many potheads.

But Ford wrote it, so it must be actual - factual. Silliness, that is.

I like the idea of getting Snow and from what I have been reading... Glen Robinson is not happy... and they just fired the coach today so they are into making changes. Stevie and Pike for Snow and Robinson. Don't know if this would work salary wise... but Snow would be a nice fit... you could start Robinson at 3 and let JJ back up the two and the three.
