An article that mentions the Rockets, and mainly Yao's frustrated best-friend Lui Wei, who is apparently trying to desperately get in the NBA. Nothing too exciting, but did not see the article posted on here http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=bucher_ric&id=1955953
Say no to Liu. From what I have seen of him, he doesn't belong in the NBA. His point skill are ok, but he got beat off the dribble by all point guards he faced, including Lue. Chen and Yi on the other hand....we'd probably have to tank a season to get either one of them.
Maybe he could hire a hitman in Atlanta, get some dreads and change his name to Tyronne Liu and hope to catch on.
hrm..being that the CBA has instituted the rule that everyone has to be 22 before they can leave. Yi's looking at 2009 before he can go and chen is looking at 2010. at this point yao would be 30 years old.. Only way for these guys to get out is for their families to immigrate maybe. korea's top 15 year old prospect recently came to america to play HS ball at monctclair prep in cali. he's getting pretty good looks at by UCLA so far
